Making its maiden voyage in May 2006 will be Manohra
Dream, a 20 meter-long rice barge offering exclusive five-star overnight
charters exploring Thailand’s famous Menam Chao Phraya, the ‘River of
Kings’.
Built upon the original 100-year-old, solid teak hull,
the rice barge has been painstakingly restored and lavishly converted into
a luxurious river cruiser. Manohra Dream features only two elegantly
appointed staterooms, thereby providing the most intimate of cruise
experiences for no more than two couples.
Manohra Dream, like its counterpart Manohra Song was
designed by interiors specialist Kathleen Heinecke of Ireland-based
Polygon Designs. Elaborate detail meticulously crafted by hand into the
teakwood is used throughout the vessel and is reminiscent of a traditional
Thai dwelling in days gone by. Custom-designed furniture and muted soft
natural fabrics with splashes of color for contrast are set against the
rich teak finishes. Many silks are used for the furnishings and wall
hangings and artifacts from around the country are incorporated in the
interior design with inspiration drawn from images of life during the
reign of King Rama V.

Traditional
Thai Massage
Exotic, unique and the ultimate subliminal body workout.
Passed down through generations, the Traditional Thai
Massage is a blend of deep tissue massage using pressure
points and stretching techniques. It releases tension,
increases vitality and flexibility and creates wholeness
of mind, body and spirit. Recommended for those who
prefer a firm massage.
Foot
Reflexology
Reflexology is based on the belief that the body
contains constantly flowing energy or “Chi” which
unites with the reflex points of the feet. This
specialized foot massage assists in the relief of stress
and tension, helps to improve circulation, and fosters a
restoration of the body’s natural state of
equilibrium.
Aromatherapy
Massage
Our most aromatic and relaxing massage with a choice of
four specially blended oils, Mandara, Harmony, Thailand
Spice and Tranquility. Using a combination of strokes
and acupressure techniques, this soothing and gentle
massage allows the healing properties of these natural
oils to penetrate into the skin leaving you relaxed and
with a sense of well being. A definite jetlag tonic.
