Scenic Halong Bay, with its emerald seas,

"the Bay of the Descending Dragon", is dotted with
more than 3,000 mountainous islands, each with its own unique
landscape. The islands are famous for their dolomite and
limestone rock formations, many of which have been given
names. Natural grottos, fjords, land tunnels and inlets are
also common. During the Vietnam War, numerous large ships
sailed through the open waters of the bay and now an excursion
by junk, cruises or fishing boat gives you the memorable
experience of sailing past silent, sea-girt caves and around
the spectacular formations, tasting fresh and authentic
Vietnamese cuisines, breathing cool breezing from the Gulf of

1: Hanoi – Valentine Junk Cruise Halong Bay
We depart from the capital at 8 :30 am for Halong Bay
approximately three hours away. En route we have a short
stop at the Sao Do center run for and by handicapped
children for short break. We arrive in the pier at 11:30.
11.30 Arrive at Bai Chay/ Halong
11.45 Transfer by tender to boat – enjoy Welcome Cocktail
receive cruise briefing and safety instructions
12.15 Depart by boat to Halong Bay – start cruise and
check-in cabins
13.00 – 14.30 Lunch – enjoy deluxe Vietnamese Set Menu
14.45 Arrive by boat at Bat Cave (Hang Doi) – choose from
optional tour program: visit local fishing village by tender
OR visit cave by rowing sampan or kayak OR relax with beauty
services onboard
15.00 Transfer from boat – visit Cua Van Fishing Village

16.20 Return transfer to boat

trip through untouched forests and wildlife. Arrive at rural
Viet Hai Village, enjoy scenery and interact with local

13.30 – 15.45 Optional Tour Program: take a rather steep
hiking trip up Navy Peak (Dao Hai Quan) and be rewarded with
spectacular views over Halong Bay OR Take walking tour
through Viet Hai Village and enjoy the tranquil scenery
amongst green rice paddies. Take return bicycle trip back to
tender
16.00 – 18.30 Return transfer by wooden tender to boat
