Good Morning Vietnam! Welcome to Hanoi!. You will be greeted and met by a local representative upon arrival. Private hotel transfer, checking into your accommodations located in the heart of the city. Remainder of the day is spent at leisure. Spend your time relaxing. Overnight at hotel.
Breakfast at hotel and followed by a full day private city orietnation. You will be met by a local tour guide at the hotel lobby. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature. Next, visit the famous Hoa Lo prison, which was originally nicknamed the 'Hanoi Hilton' by US prisoners of war (POWs). After lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll call in at the serene Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest in Hanoi, on the banks of Hanoi’s Ho Tay (West) Lake. Then it’s off to explore Hanoi’s bustling Old Quarter. It’s a magnet for visitors – noisy and hectic, but definitely a ‘must-see’ attraction. Free time for dinner and at 09:00, we will transfer you to the train station to board an overnight train to Lao Cai (Sapa). Tonight you will stay in a private cabin on the train.
The train arrives in Lao Cai train station at dawn, very early morning. Check out your cabin and you will be welcomed by a local tour guide. Privately transferred to a local restaurant nearby where you will have breakfast and refrehen a bit before setting off for Bac Ha, a sleepy town and less touristy than Sapa. If the day you arrives fall on Saturday or Sunday, you can find dozens of ethnic minority groups gathers for selling and buying products. There is a wide range of range of handicrafts for sale in the market Bac Ha or Can Cau. The markets are a magnet for the local hill-tribe people, above all the exotically attired Flower Hmong. Checking into your accommodation and relax for the remainder of morning to wander the town and relax in your rooms. In the afternoon, you will be escorted by your tour guide to take a leisure walk to visit Ban Pho village of Flower H'Mong hill tribes to get a glimpse of the village life, hill tribes' ways of living and their unique culture. Overnight at hotel.
Breakfast and refreshen your new day with fresh and cool air and a hot cup of coffee and followed by a drive to Lung Phinh commune. Going through lush mountains, pine plantation and farmland will take you to Pa Chu Ty. Tour the village and encounter with very friendly Flower H'mong people and you will settle in your accommodation in the village. Overnight in the village. Mattress, sleeping bags are provided.
Enjoy a simple breakfast but hearty then your journey continues with moderate leisure walking to visit Black H'mong village. Then, you we will proceed to Hoang Su Phi - a rural district of Ha Giang province in the northeastern region of Vietnam. Hoang Su Phu is famous for incredibly breath-taking landscapes of rice terraced paddies. Settle in a very basis room at a local homestay, but a great chance for you to learn about their unique customs and traditions as well as interesting stories of daily life that they are encountering. Dinner and overnight at homestay.
Fuel up with hearty breakfast then we will pack our luggage, saying goodbye the host and we will take a leisure walk upstream the tranquil Chay river to Tan Tien, followed by a rugged and off-the-beaten-path trails on the mountainside of the region's highest peak Tay Con Linh. Visit the villages of Nung and Dzao people. During the trek, you will admire the incredibly magnificient landscapes of Tung San valley. At noon, you will arrive in a village where you will settle in a homestay for an overnight stay. Wander the village in your spare time, meeting some colorful tribes like Dzao Ao Dai (Dzao ethnic minority with long dress). Dinner and stay overnight at the homestay in the village.
Breakfast and bid farewell to your friendly host then we will set off for Cao Banh. To get there, you will have to trek through misty hills and lush mountain terrain for from three to four hours. Picnic lunch is served on the way, in a place where you can enjoy very scenic landscapes of rice paddies beneath the valley. Arrives in Dan Khao village where you will settle in a very basis homestay overnight with Tay people. Dinner is prepared by the tour guide and the host. Overnight at homestay in Cao Banh.
After your breakfast, bid farewell to your hosts and followed by a drive to Ha Giang. You will have some stops for lunch, refresh and visit beautiful villages on the way. You will arrive in Ha Giang town in late afternoon. Checking in a room and spend your time relaxing at a hotel in Ha Giang.
Breakfast at a local restaurant and the day is spent with a full day exploration trek. On this trek you will have a chance to encounter colorful friendly hill tribes of Tay, Dzao and enjoy very stunning and picturesque scenery along the way. Arrive in a Nam Dam village of Dzao people where you will stay overnight with the hosts in a traditional house. Dinner is included.
Enjoy a home-cooked breakfast prepared by your tour guide and the hosts then we will set off for Lung Tam village where you will meet H'mong ethnic tribes. Privately transferred to Yen Minh, a rural district of Hà Giang Province, lunch at a local restaurant and continue driving to Meo Vac where you will spend an overnight at a guesthouse there.
Breakfast is prepared at a local restaurant and today is spent with driving and driving...Do not worry the driving will get you bored because today you will enjoy the most beautiful, very scenic and the most amazing mountainous landscapes of Vietnam. Lush mountains, winding passes, especially the highest pass of Ma Pi Leng which are widely recognized by intrepid travelers as one of the most spectacular roads to drive in Vietnam and in Southeast Asia. Do not miss it!. Continue driving to Dong Van, explore the surroundings before we will head back to Ha Giang town to spend another night. Stay overnight at a local hotel.
Check out and say goodbye to Ha Giang as you embark on your long but beautiful journey back to Hanoi. Stop off along the way for photos of the scenery and a delicious lunch in Tuyen Quang. Check back into your comfortable Hanoi hotel around 5pm and enjoy the evening relaxing in the city. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.
Breakfast at hotel and followed by 3 hour drive to Halong Bay. Upon arrival Hon Gai harbour, embark aboard the stylish cruise and you are welcomed. Check-in your room and the fantastic 2 night Halong & Bai Tu Long Bay cruise begins. While cruising magnificient Bai Tu Long Bay, time for you to admire the fascinating limestone karsts on the way. Set menu lunch served in the outdoor dining room. Cruise to Vung Dang and Cong Dam area where you can swim or relax on a white sandy beach; Go kayaking through the mystery Karst Mountains in Vung Dang area. Return to the cruise to refreshen and relax. Dinner and spend the rest of your evening relaxing, talking with the on board team, watching movies, listening to music. Overnight aboard the cruise.
Start a new day with Tai Chi on the sundeck & morning view of Bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast in the fresh air while cruising to Vung Vieng Fishing Village. Visit Vung Vieng fishing village by a rustic row-boat. Visit Thien Canh Son cave. Having a BBQ lunch on the beach. Back to the boat and start cruising to Hai Quan area, kayak to explore the mystery Karst Mountain Having dinner on board. Free time for communicating with staffs, evening activities (squid fishing, beauty spa…) and service on board. Overnight on board.
Breakfast and followed by a leisure cruising back to the harbour. Check-out and disembark the cruise. Privately transferred to Yen Duc village, a very beautiful village is located on the highway between Hanoi and Halong Bay, creating a convenient stop for tourists to relax and visit a rural community. This is one of the villages in the Red River Delta that still retains its authentic lifestyle. The local people’s lives revolve around rice cultivation and farming activities. Passing through the village, visitors still find the charming rice fields, traditional houses and gardens, and friendly locals working their farms. During your stay in the village you will join some farming activities with locals, visit their home on foot or on bike, a short visit to the culture house of village and local market will give you some ideas of a local community in rural Vietnam. There are two accommodation that you can choose from: Viet House (a luxury village retreat) and homestay, each will provide you a unique comfortable experience.
