After meeting at Sinouk Coffee House in Pakse town in the morning, you are transferred by bus to Pha Pheng waterfall, also known as 'The Niagara of The East'. Then visit the fishing village of Xieng Di for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant.
After that, you will be transferred to a small boat to Khone Island where you will visit the old French railway and walk across a bridge which links Khone Island and Det Island. Proceed to Vat Phou boat, which is awaiting at Ban Veuthong. You are welcomed on board with a welcome drink. Your dinner is served on board. The boat docks for a night at Ban Dong.
The boat leaves early in the morning for a visit at Ban Deua Tia where you can walk through this small Laotian village to observe a traditional way of life. Then, you will continue the cruise northwards passing the wild paradise of '4,000 Islands'. Lunch is provided on board. The second stop is Huei Thamo village where you will take a short hike to the mysterious hidden forest temple of 'Oum Muong'. Return to the boat to enjoy the tropical sunset on the deck. Your delicious dinner is served on board. Tonight, the boat docks at Ban Tomo.
Today's highlight is a visit at Vat Phou ruins; the majestic pre-Angkorian 10th century temple complex and a World Heritage Site. Then, you will return to the boat for lunch. In the afternoon, a long tail boat takes you back to Champasak, arriving around 4 P.M.
