Arrive in Luang Prabang, where you are met and enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. After checking in, spend the balance of the day at leisure. Rise before dawn and today you will participate in one of the most mesmerizing experience of the daily ritual offering of food to the local monks. As a procession of robed monks passes, place a small amount of rice into their alms bowls. This deeply spiritual ritual is a serene part of everyday life. You will return to your hotel where you will enjoy a hearty breakfast. Relax and refreshen up for a while and the day continue with a comprehensive city orientation. Breakfast and followed by a short drive to the Elephant Conservation Camp. Explore the mysterious beauty of the Lao jungle with our recently rescued elephants as your companions. This join-in basis journey is a perfect way for these happy elephants to enjoy a walk in their natural habitat after decades of hard labor in logging camps. It also offers you a once-in-a-lifetime experience to learn from and absorb their calming energy. This morning transfer to the airport for your two-hour flight to Hanoi where you will be met and privately transferred to the hotel in the city centre. Spend the rest of morning at leisure. At 13:00, you will be escorted by a Hanoian to pay a visit to the local market nearby your hotel. Buy all essential ingredients for this evening hands-on cooking lesson. Breakfast is followed by a half-day comprehensive city orientation which you will have a chance to get closer to see ochre-coloured colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and scenic lakes. You will explore the city's historic landmarks and sights such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilt and One Pillar Pagoda. Breakfast at hotel and we will depart for Halong Bay, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Halong Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the legendary Halong Bay. This exciting cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs. Stay overnight on the cruise in Halong Bay.
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, visit beautiful limestone grotto then back to the boat for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock.
