Good morning Vietnam. Met and welcomed upon arrival and you will be transferred to the hotel in the city centre. Checking into your accommodation and remainder of the day is spent relaxing. Breakfast and spend your morning wander around the town to visit the market, meet ethnic tribal communities gather around the town. Then, you will begin the day with a full day village tour. Trekking from Sapa down to Muong Hoa river, home to Black H'mong and Dzay hill tribal communities. Explore the village on foot, meet the friendly local people and learn about their colorful culture and lifestyle in the countryside. Lunch at a local family. Breakfast is prepared by the host and then you will continue trek through the rice paddie field to d to Giang Ta Chai village to visit Red Dzao ethnic communities. After touring the village, car will pick you up at the main road and drive to Thanh Phu village where you will walk on the village path which winds down the impressive valley to Nam Cang, home to Red Dzao ethnic minority people. Arrive at the Nam Cang Lodge which is located deep in the Sapa Valley in the heart of the mountains, The Riverside Lodge offers overnight stays in a traditional minority village. First, you will enjoy a morning walking tour to visit Hue's highlighted landmarks of the ancient Imperial city including the impressive Citadel, the Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns and the Nine Holy Cannons, and finally visit Thai Hoa Palace - The emperor’s coronation hall and the surrounding ruins of the Forbidden Purple City. In the afternoon, you will hop on a bycile to the countryside. Cycle through the rural surroundings of the city, stopping at villages and rice fields where you get a close insight into the lives of the locals. Breakfast and today you will spend your full day tour with a delightful local cooking class and interesting tour of ancient town. First, you and your chef will run through the range of delicious dishes that you will recreate, then it’s time to hit the local market to stock up on all the fresh produce needed to create the feast. Hoi An is well know for souvenir shopping with great prices and also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to get a cloth tailor made to measure, this is the time to do it. Breakfast and followed by a half day comprehensive city oriention of Saigon. You will discover Vietnam's most exciting and bustling metropolis of Ho Chi Minh on this interesting half day tour. First stop is Notre Dame Catholic Cathedral, the Central Post Office and the War Remnants Museum. This tour will also show how Ho Chi Minh is steeped in history with stops at historic landmarks including the former Presidential Palace where Saigon's government ruled from throughout the American war. Wander and join with locals at Saigon's iconic Ben Thanh market - a great place to buy local handicrafts, branded goods, art and other souvenirs. At 18:00, you will enjoy a very interesting tour to experience the nightlife of Saigon the way locals do, all from the back of a vintage Vespa scooter. Breakfast and today we will head out of the city for Cu Chi Tunnels. You’ll visit the underground Cu Chi tunnels, exploring the tunnel site, which includes weapon and booby trap exhibitions, navigating authentic Viet Cong tunnel, visiting different underground bunkers (kitchens, meeting rooms, ammunitions etc.), a firing range and much more. Try the local cassava root that sustained Viet Cong fighters for years. Lunch at a local restaurant before we will proceed to Tay Ninh to visit Cao Dai Holy See. The Cao Dai Holy See Temple is the holiest centre of worship for the Cao Dai religion - Vietnam’s third most popular belief system after Buddhism and Catholicism. At noon time, you are welcome at prayer sessions in the Great Temple. Return to the city after the tour. Overnight at hotel.
